My heart ached for poor Will Turner when Liz gave him the cold shoulder in lieu of Jack’s seductive skills. Of course, that only lasted for so long when I realized that the spark was there from the first movie.

I can’t explain it, but they just fit, don’t they?

    Yeah, thinking back to the first movie, you realize that Liz and Will are together only because in movies, that’s what’s supposed to happen, that’s what we, as the audience, kind of expected anyway. Now we’re all thrilled about the whole Jack&Liz thing. Ehehe.

    While I totally support Jack and Elizabeth, I truely believe that they probably will not end up together at the end of the third movie. That being said, I also don’t think the producers are done toying with the idea of Jack and Elizabeth. The Sparrabeth ship is far from done sailing while the Willabeth ship is still sitting there in open water. I have a feeling that something big will happen between Jack and Elizabeth before that ship, sadly, sinks. However, I will laugh if she does get pregnant and the baby is NOT Wills. I also have a strong gut feeling that Norrington will not survive to the end of the movie but that’s just a feeling and this isn’t the place to talk about it. I actually have a fanfiction in the works right now where Jack and Elizabeth have twins. Who knows… maybe our crazy, hard to believe dreams will come true.

    I haven’t seen the first movie in so long, but just seeing the 3 last night at 8:00 (May 24). And knowing that they don’t end up together, I fell really sorry for her after just getting Married to Will (so Romantic) she can only see himoncce every ten years so sad. :( Why? Why? WHY? IT would be a new plot twist if they ended up together, but of couse It’s made by disney so oviously Will and Liz will be together.     I do wish Jack and Elizabeth would end up together. I was actually pretty happy that Will got stabbed in the 3rd movie and Jack floated away with Liz in his arms. It’s a shame that there weren’t more good moments between them. If they do ever make another sequel, Liz better meet Jack again instead of staying on land raising Will’s son. They have very good chemistry.

    I wonder why everyone thinks that Elizabeth needs to be with any of those two guys, barring the fact that it is indeed a movie and certain things need to take place. Personally, I think she’s better off on her own (obviously impossible back then) seeing as how she’s a pirate captain and all. Besides, I think Norrington was the best suited for her. Both Will and Jack are egotistic, dishonest, and irrational; the commodore on the other hand, strove to maintain respectability, even after tasting a pirate’s life. I think he’d be the perfect person to understand Elizabeth and to tend to her needs. It’s obvious he cares about her enough to give up his life for her. And that look she shot back at him when she was climbing those ropes….
