I’ve decided…
…to attempt to sell ads on this site. That, of course, does not mean that the quality of the writing will decrease, or that I will somehow turn this whole site commercial. You know, Adsense ads embedded in each post along with SEO keywords splattered inanely around the post.
In short, I promise that I’m not selling my soul to the devil, nor am I going to neglect my dear readers in the attempt to cull out some awesomeness in the realm of finance. I suck at money. Which is why I have to earn it in the first place, since the bus system here runs on this general concept: “Always be late, but never be late the same number of minutes everyday so you can screw with the minds of the college students.” In short, I haven’t yet gotten a job.
Although, it might have something to do with the fact that I’m lazy. And my body has been trained to reject the cold since you are always expected to work at your best no matter how hot it is in Hawai`i. But we start layering (I mean, not just a sweater) at any dip below 70 degrees. So this silly 13 degree weather + a wind chill that makes it feel like it’s zero degrees outside is not conducive to my body health. Or I’m not conducive to it. One or the other.
But of course, life as a college student (unless you’re uber-awesome) is pretty much defined by the lack of spending money. But don’t leave my blog! I *heart* my readers.

The bus in Hawaii runs on the same principle. Except that it runs on one island instead of for the entire state, and there’s really no reason it should be late, given that there are only so many places a guy can go on an island that’s smaller than pretty much every other state.
Also, I don’t bundle up when it’s 70 or below. I simply shiver and whine about how cold it is. Oh, and the wind chill here brings the temperature down to a frigid 60 something sometimes.

Hi, I’ve been reading you blog for a little while, and I like your writing.
On your ideas on ads, if you are going to have ads on your site, don’t use google ads or any of those type of ads, they seriously mess with peoples minds and are really annoying. Choose TLA or like a JotSpot thingie and stick ‘em in your sidebar.
Cheers,
Rylan — Sorry about that. >< I didn’t mean to insult you about your cold habits. Hehe.
Philip — Thanks for the advice. I’m using TLA because I think Adsense sort of messes up the way a blog looks. That could be just me, though.
I agree, to put it simple, it looks like shit.
I you check out this guys blog at http://www.problogger.net/ you get a lot of tips on how to earn money on your blog.
Thanks Philip. I already read problogger. ^_^ This probably isn’t the best site to monetize, but I need to redesign my game blog before I can put anything on that one.
Didn’t realize I was uber-awesome, but I’ll take it
Yup, you’re uber-awesome.
