Trying to find something interesting to write about for this blog, I typed “wedding” into Google News. The screenshot on the left is what I came up with. If you can’t read the first headline, it says:

Dog eats owner’s $5000 wedding ring

Yes, that’s right. The most, apparently, recent article had to do with a wedding ring-eating dog. Apparently, it had acquired a taste for diamonds even before it gobbled up the wedding souvenir. I don’t know why I find this amusing, or why anyone else does. Of course, we enjoy weird things, don’t we?
